Our team likes to say that we take our patients’ care very seriously, but not ourselves! We love being here and we love what we do, and it’s obvious because of the fun, positive, and laughter-filled atmosphere. Of course, just because we’re having a good time doesn’t mean your service will be any less prompt. We’re ready to make your appointments fly by and answer all of your questions. But before that, you can learn a little more about everyone below!
Cristal, Front Desk
Cristal has been with us since 2020, and her goal is to help every patient feel welcome from the moment they step through our doors. She is originally from Hoboken, and her weekends usually involve going to the dog park with her partner and their Yorkie/Maltese mix, Bear. If there is a new place opening in Jersey City, she’s usually one of the first people to visit it as well.
Shirley, Office Manager
Shirley is a 20+ year dental veteran, and seeing a patient who was initially nervous feel at ease and smile is her favorite part of her job. She and her husband have been together for over 20 years, and they have a daughter and son. In her free time, you’ll often find her bargain shopping or renovating her home, as she’s a big fan of interior design.
Dina, Dental Assistant
Dina has been a part of the dental world for 20 years. For her, the job is all about helping others, and she always enjoys watching a patient’s smile evolve as we take care of them. She is married with a son and daughter, and when she isn’t at the dental office, she likes to go jogging, work out at the gym, and watch movies with her family.
Ernesto, Dental Hygienist
Ernesto joined our dental office in 2014, and he has over 15 years of experience in dentistry overall. He says that the best part of his job is that it gives him the chance to change his patients’ lives for the better. He and his wife have two daughters and one son, and when he isn’t attending one of their events, he likes to renovate homes, watch sports, and draw.
Maria, Dental Assistant
Maria likes that her job allows her to get to know people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, and then she gets to help them feel right at home in our dental office. In addition to her basic dental education, she has also completed advanced training focused on CAD/CAM dentistry. Born in Ecuador and raised in Union City, she likes to work out and try different recipes in order to improve her nutrition.
Raul, Dental Assistant
Raul says that helping a patient overcome their fear of the dentist brings him great joy, and he likes that he gets to learn new things about people and dentistry every day. Sports occupy a lot of his free time, and his other passions are fashion and selling shoes, which he says has been an obsession since he was 13. He also considers himself to be a huge foodie and is always eager to try new dishes from different cultures.
