Intraoral Camera
Our intraoral camera enables our team and you to get a better look at your smile. It’s a small device, a little larger than a pen, that fits into the mouth with a camera on the tip. There, it can take high-resolution images of the teeth and gums. This allows our team to closely examine your mouth without shining a bright light into your eyes, plus we can go over the images with you so you’re able to see exactly what we’re talking about.
Digital X-Rays
Did you know that about one-third of your teeth is hidden by your gums? These areas can develop cavities, infections, and even cancer that is out of sight, but our digital X-rays ensure that nothing gets past us. They generate more detailed images compared to film X-rays in just a fraction of the time, allowing us to catch potential problems much sooner so we can address them before they can turn into any damage or pain.
CBCT Scanner
While a dental X-ray is like looking at a map of your immediate area, a CBCT scan is like looking at a globe. It captures images from several directions and pieces them together to form a detailed 3D model of the teeth, jaws, and adjacent structures. This helps us see the big picture when it comes to your oral health. With it, we can establish a baseline or use it to plan more complicated procedures like dental implant placement so it is completely personalized to your unique anatomy.
Digital Impression System
Impressions give us the ability to create a mockup of your teeth and bite so we can make sure a denture, veneer, or crown will fit and look perfectly. Now, instead of having patients bite into molds filled with putty, we simply scan the mouth with a small device. In a matter of minutes, we have a perfect digital impression. It’s fast, accurate, and doesn’t create a mess like the old way!
